About Vertical Foundations

I built a career across several industries before I built a business of my own.

Finance. Construction. Automotive. Nonprofit. On paper they have almost nothing in common — different products, different customers, different rhythms. But when you sit inside them the way I did, running projects and quietly noticing what actually made businesses work, you start to see the same story everywhere.

The businesses that thrived weren't the ones with the biggest budgets, the loudest brands, or the most credentialed teams. They were the ones with structure. A clear way of making decisions. A financial system that was actually checked. A calendar that reflected what mattered. An offer that could be explained in one sentence.

The businesses that struggled were run by talented, driven people who had never been given — or never built — that structure.

Eventually I left corporate to build my own ventures. And I discovered the same truth from the other side of the table: experience alone doesn't build a business. Structure does. The same frameworks that saved my corporate clients hours were the ones I now needed for myself.

Vertical Foundations is what came out of that intersection.
